Cookies and recognition technologies

‍

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, session storage, or pixels). Cookies are small data packets that are stored on your device and do not cause any damage. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit, while persistent cookies remain stored until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser. Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or be used by third-party companies (third-party cookies), for example, to integrate external services or process payments.

The storage of technically necessary cookies or access to information already stored on your device is based on Section 25(2) no. 2 of the TDDDG, while the subsequent processing of personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision of our services). The use of all non-technically necessary cookies and technologies (e.g., for analysis, personalization, or marketing purposes) occurs exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent in accordance with Section 25(1) of the TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can also configure your browser to block cookies in general, allow them only in individual cases, or have them automatically deleted when you close your browser; however, disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Consent and consent management with Usercentrics

‍

To manage the cookies and tracking technologies used, as well as your consent, we use the consent management platform Usercentrics (Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Str. 7, 80331 Munich, Germany).

When you visit our website, a connection is established with Usercentrics' servers to query and document your privacy settings. In doing so, Usercentrics processes the following data:

  • Your consent data or the revocation of your consent
  • Your anonymized IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Browser and device information
  • Geographic location (country)

Processing is carried out to fulfill our legal obligation to obtain and document GDPR-compliant consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR) as well as on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have entered into a data processing agreement (DPA) with Usercentrics GmbH.

Revocation and adjustment of your settings:

You can change or revoke your privacy settings at any time with effect for the future by clicking on the cookie settings icon (e.g., the small fingerprint icon in the bottom left or right corner of the screen) and adjusting the desired categories. Alternatively, you can configure your browser to block cookies generally or to delete them when you close the browser; however, this may limit the functionality of the website.

Contact form

‍

When you send us inquiries via our contact form, your details from the form, including the contact information you provide, are stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling the inquiry and for any follow-up questions. We do not share this data without a legal basis or your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective and prompt handling of requests addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), provided this has been requested separately; any consent given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions—particularly statutory retention periods—remain unaffected.

‍

Use of Webflow as a data processor:

We use the Webflow system (Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA) to provide our website and contact form. The data you enter is processed and cached on Webflow's servers. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) as well as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the EU Commission. Webflow is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We have entered into a Data Processing Addendum with Webflow.

‍

Inquiry via email or telephone

‍

If you contact us by email or telephone, your request, including all resulting personal data (such as name, telephone number, email address, and the content of your inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent or a legal basis.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective and professional handling of requests addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), if this has been requested separately; consent given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

The data you provide to us will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions—in particular statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law—remain unaffected.
